Fruity Breakfast
1 cup of fresh fruit
½ cup of non fat plain yoghurt
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon of wheat germ
Fruit Smoothie
2 servings
1 golden delicious apple
1 cup of apple juice
4 strawberries
1 banana
3/4 cup plain yogurt
1 dozen icecubes
1 Tablespoon honey
· chop up all fruit into small pieces and peel apple.
Place all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Apple and Oats
1 and 1/2 cups oat bran
1 golden delicious apple – peeled and chopped up
Handful of rasions
1 Tablespoon Honey
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
milk for serving (optional)
Cook the oats and water til hot in microwave (usually takes 1.5 – 2 mins) or on a hob.
Stir in the apple, raisins, and cinnamon.
Berry Smoothie
1 serving
1-1/2 cups frozen raspberries
1 cup of orange juice
1 cup vanilla Soya milk
Blend ingredients in a blender until smooth
Carrot Smoothie
2 servings
1 cup of frozen vanilla yoghurt
2 finely grated carrots
1/2 cup of cold carrot juice
1/2 cup soft tofu
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ginger
Place carrots, carrot juice and tofu in blender first, just for a few seconds.
Add the rest and blend until smooth.
Cinnamon Smoothie
2 servings
2 banannas
1 handful of raspberries
1 handful of blueberries
1 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
cinnamon to taste
2 ice cubes
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend untill smooth
